She's Ready for the Party....

Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my artwork! Wow....it makes me so happy to know that you like what I do. Even when I don't always like it!

Today was a really busy, stressful day but I managed to draw something this evening. And I only gave it a hint of color so I'm happy with it.

Here is my latest lady....

It took me forever to do that archway! HB thinks we should buy stock in Sharpies!

  7. Girl, your designs are amazing! By any chance are you a Parson's graduate? No kidding, they are wonderful. Surely you have had some design background somewhere. You could design movie star gowns. Thanks for your encouraging comment. I was in the kick my art mood and you helped get me out. See? We all do it! xoxoxoxoxo

  10. Janet, your work shows real confidence and flair! It continues to remind me of Erte, and covers of antique Vogue magazines.
    Have a great Sunday.

  11. Janet,

The amount of pink you used was just perfect!

And I agree with Lisa. You could market this drawing as a card. And you could also market the tree card.

I am getting things together for Christmas...you should make your own Christmas cards, what a treat that would be.

  22. Well, I seem to have missed a lot, and so many comments hit the nail on the head when you were frustrated that there is no point in me adding to it now, I think the result of it all speaks volumes, because this is a wonderful piece. As a matter of interest, how big is it? And do you sell your work?
