In the Middle of the Night....

Here it is 2:45 AM and I'm wide awake! Maybe because mostly what I've been doing is sleeping all day. I still feel bad and probably will be doing pretty much the same thing today.

I think you can tell from these two ATC/ACEOs that I managed to do yesterday that I'm not feeling very inspired!

Before I got sick I had been working on a painting. I'm happy with the face but I really srewed up the hair (as usual!) I haven't fixed the hair yet but this is what the face looks like. When I feel better and do something with her hair I'll show you the complete painting....

Ok, I'm going back to the couch and rest again. My energy level is waaaay down. Send soup!!!

Hugs,

  1. Sending chicken noodle soup your way. Hope you are better soon. I hate it when I feel bad, its no fun! You also need some hot tea to go with that soup! And a drop of honey too! Take care! Hugs***Renea
PS--Have you been to the doctor?

  2. I hope you feel better soon, Janet. I know having a cold in the summer is not fun at all. I wish I could bring a big bowl of soup and some pretty flowers too.
And maybe convince you to go to the doc.

  11. Hi, Janet. It's been a while since I've visited your blog, and your artwork has really evolved! It's fun to see. I am just finished with my school year and looking forward to some time for creative endeavors, as well as reconnecting with bloggers.

    Get better soon!

  12. I'm so sorry you're not feeling well, Janet - hope you're better soon! We've all had runny noses, sort throats and coughs around here this past week too - something's certainly making the rounds -- though we've been lucky, ours hasn't been too bad. Well, except for the coughing in the night, which wakes up the kittens, and then we're up till all hours, too, lol.
Take good care of you - get well soon!
Oh - and the painting of the face is looking REALLY lovely - I'm looking forward to seeing all of it!

  13. I'm so sorry to read that you're not well! Hope you're better today (Friday).

I like the first drawing. Perhaps an artist is at her (his) best when they suffer. ;-)

  14. Janet, I just love the two ATC/ACEOs ... if that's not inspired, I'm scared to ask to see something that is!

    Feel better.

  15. I really like those ACEO's actually, specially the first one with the droopy floral stamens, or whatever they are. They look cute in a gloomy rainy day sort of way.
I'd send you soup but I'm afraid they'd get stuck in the internet tubes. Hehe.
