I've Been Drawing Again....

I thought I was going to have some free time this week. My son went home with his sister for a few days and I should be spending time online visiting all my blogger friends. But I've been putting up Christmas trees instead!

Today I finished the one in the family room but I still have more to do to the one in the living room. It's very tall and I need HB to help me with decorations near the top. That might have to wait until the weekend when he will have some time off. Meanwhile my living room is full of big tubs of decorations and the kitties are loving it!

I also finally got back into the drawing mood. So the past couple of nights I've been working on a big zentangle-type drawing. It's about 9" x 12"....

I think I'll call it "A Garden of Dreams"

  8. Ooh - that's beautiful, Janet - it's like lace!
In recent years, we've been doing just a tiny Charlie Brown tree on the table - though I sometimes sort of miss having a big one. I bet yours will be lovely!

  9. WOW!! I think this is the prettiest zentangle drawing I've ever seen....well done, Janet!

We put up and decorated our tree a little early this year so Michelle would be here to join in. It was a special occasion because Beau, my son, bought a new tree and it's huge compared to our previous one.

    love, light and peace,

  14. Your gorgeous doodles/drawing give me an idea! I think they're lovely as they are, but am also thinking it would be fun to do some doodles with black acrylic paint in a fine-tip squeeze bottle and then paint over the dry doodle with transparent glazes.... I'm going to try it, although my doodles will be strictly beginner types. Hugs, Robin A.
