Here's the first piece I did using it. I just whacked off a hunk....I didn't measure or anything. I used some gesso and then did a watercolor background and then added my gal. She looks much better in real life. The scanner seems to make her look weird and somewhat darker than she really is. I think she might be about 8"x8"....

And here's my journal page for today....
Aug 8:

Now I'm going back up to the studio and par-tay some more!! I hope you all had a great day. See ya tomorrow!
Oh I love her! I love the different colors in her face. I've never heard of that paper. I'll have to check it out. I got to play yesterday, too. Felt good!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you posted about this paper, Janet. I've been thinking about it ever since I read Zorana's post, and have been meaning to look for some, too. I love how all the colors pop on your piece.

ReplyDeleteHi Janet! Love your colorful lady (and her very special hair). Do you like the paper? It's made for 'guilt-free' play and exploration, I think. Love your happy face and new hair style too! xo

ReplyDeleteLove the new hairdo too - very brave of you - it suits you. x
You are so living my life, Janet. Can't wait until my time and my thoughts are entirely my own - not split between work and non-work.
ReplyDeleteYour latest journal page is outstanding.
