I Pulled Her Out of the Canvas!!!

I know it's later than I usually post but I wanted to get this on tonight. I have been working on and off most of the day on another piece of pulled art.

This is what I started with....

I painted this background a couple of days ago and just kept looking at it but nothing popped out at me. Then last night HB and I were talking about it and suddenly I just saw her!! I hope you can see my pencil sketch....

And here she is....

I am in LOVE with this technique!!!!

  8. I Have done a painting like that, in a workshop.. called Paint your canvas.. and it was very odd, when i eventually got mine finished, it was me, in a past life.. something I had dreamed of many times

  12. She jumped out at me right away when I first saw the top painting. I very much like the final work but it is the transitional image that really holds my attention. I love the way she is floating out of the background.

This is FABULOUS!! You really have grown in your art. I have your package of stencils ready to mail. I know, my bad for this long delay. Mea culpa - I have not been myself this summer. Please do not tell me you no longer stencil. (No, just kidding - be honest with me - I can take it.)
