I did this doodle late at night over a few evenings in front of the TV....

And this next piece is done on a piece of junk mail....

I have a few other things to show you as soon as they arrive at their destinations.
********************************************
dinner: lentil stew for me and spaghetti with meatballs for HB
listening to: the TV in the next room
reading: The Three Musketeers by Dumas and All the King's Men by Robert Penn Warren
thinking about: Naomi Wolf and "The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot"
art: still making scrappy collages but beginning to paint a little

Hi Janet! I just love what you do!
ReplyDeleteHello Janet!!! really nice looking "doodles"...you are very creative Lady!
ReplyDeleteFAbulous art as always. I really really love the first one! I want wall paper that looks like that!
ReplyDeleteThese are both terrific! I love the vibrant first one...it makes me want to doodle right this minute, even though I'm actually trying to get off the computer (opposite to your problem) and go to bed!
ReplyDeleteand way to recycle 'junk' mail...all I was given as a child was envelopes torn open to draw on...I hated it! but now....I don't think I'd mind! as long as I am able to make art!
don't stay away too long, please post more of your amazingly inspirational works! I eat them up, not literally, but seriously....there's a certain fuel and spark I get from coming here, and you wouldn't let me go wtihout right! lol
ciao bella

Janet, truly love both of those, especially the zendoodle- the colours really pop!
ReplyDeleteThose are some great doodles! Creating art like that is way more fun than being on the computer. I need to turn mine off way more often - like right now (of course that's easy to say at bedtime!;)
ReplyDeleteWho could forget you!! Love those doodles, they are so me....both of them. I have loads of them I do as I watch tv too! Not much posting around here either!

Janet I love both of the pieces but the zentangle is Beautiful, I like the mix of color and black and white.
ReplyDeleteI love these doodles, they remind of of Zentangles only with color!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about time. I don't know where it all goes, but go it seems to do. I've been a little lax in my postings lately and as I leave on Thursday for 10 days and probably will not have access to a computer, I'm really going to be bad. Oh well, there's worse things, right?
ReplyDeleteLove your doodles! And the junk mail piece is just lovely! Of course, we will NOT desert you, no matter how infrequently you get to posting.
Hugs,
Tamerie
