I brought down all my pens, markers, and colored pencils from the studio.

This is such a quiet, comfortable place to draw and doodle. Here's a close up of what I'm working on....

If you don't hear from me, you know where I am!! Send out the search party!

And just because it's so pretty, here's a photo of some roses right outside our front door....

They smell good, too! Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!!
I'm running away!! Straight away to doodle in your garage with you! I think you can teach me a thing or two!! So, that search party's gonna be a little busier looking for me, too!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit envious of your new space Janet and its obviously agreeing with you cos your art is fab!!! Any room there for a few more of us to pop over?
ReplyDeleteLove it Janet, the space is great and the doodle is marvelous. I am envious of all your pens and markers.
ReplyDeleteWow...Glad you're having so much fun in your new space. (Put a recliner in there for poor hubby, so he won't get lonesome.)
ReplyDeleteLove all the organic patterns in your design; rock on, girlfriend!
So glad you found a space you can create in. Alisa Burke's studio is in her garage too. I think it really frees you to make a mess. Glad you are having fun.

Great space Janet but what I want to know is did you rob a pencil factory.
ReplyDeletehaha.. my husband says that I have an art cave. He always asks other people if they have the gear to climb in and get me out :) But he has learned that if he leaves a trail of chocolate, I will follow it back into our house
ReplyDeleteawwww poor HB. hahaha Enjoy! Love your doodle and can almost smell that rose.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you are enjoying your 'new' space! It looks like a lovely place to get lost. When I looked at your "doodle" I saw it as a part of a repeating design on silk... Wouldn't that be something? I think a lot of your creations would make amazing fabric. Happy Mother's day! Thank you for the roses, they are beautiful :-)
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear you are enjoying the new space- I know the feeling! Love that doodle too- absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day, Janet!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful rose photo there!

ReplyDeleteThat new space looks so inviting!!
Those boxes of colored markers are delicious and so is what they are used for ~ your doodles are so lovely! I am noticing such depth and richness in color too! Wow!
And then there are those lovely perfect roses! Love to you!
it is the best thing to have your own art 'studio'.. I have my own little space and when I go in there, I seem to become a different person and creativity flows (well most times).. Love your doodling.. all happy colours!
ReplyDeleteSo which of those brands of pens do you like working with the best anyhow?
ReplyDeleteThat abstract is really pretty, I like it!
Happy Arting in your new space.
I love your doodle...so colorful and bright. You are a master of this artform!
