Wednesday Mish Mash...

This post is going to be about a little bit of everything. Last week I ordered a DVD from TUT....I receive their daily messages in my email and one of them mentioned this DVD at the bottom of the email. It sounded like something I'd like. This is the DVD I bought....Thoughts Become Things....

I also have The Secret but I like this new DVD much better. I've already watched it several times and HB has watched it at least once. If you like this type of DVD they have it on sale in their shop.

Yesterday I had my hair cut. The woman who does it is just great, and I always leave there happy. This is me with my freshly cut hair....

In September I will be 68 but I don't want one of those "little old lady" hair styles with all the curls. I like my spiked hair plus it's easy to care for. And you might notice I'm wearing lavender! How rare!! I think this might be my new blog photo.

Last night while watching late night TV, I got out my long ignored sketch book and drew a simple face. The background was already on this page along with the stenciled flowers. I just drew the face and added some details to the flowers.

I also got my index cards so I can begin that little challenge. I found some that were attached by a spiral. I thought that would work great for a little mini-index card journal. All I managed to do was add a few scraps to the front card but I think this will be a fun project.

Today is our grocery shopping day....ugh! I hope you have a fun day.

The secret is good and if this one is better perhaps I should have a try.

  22. Hi Janet, getting around late. It just seems to be harder and harder to visit blogs these days. Your haircut is awesome, I had mine cut this morning. New haircut makes me feel somewhat younger.

  23. What a cute photo of you. Your hair is adorable as always...and your skin looks like porcelain! No old lady look for me either.. I refuse, and you know I am your same age. Sign me up for that "club"

I got index cards today at Target, but am still kind of looking for the ones that are spiral bound. They did have them, but they were neon colors. Guess I'll check the office supply tomorrow.

Oh,Thanks for the Fab postcard too!

    Have a good week-end.
