Two posts in one day! That's unusual for me but I decided to join in Sunday Sketches....
I did this quick sketch last night while watching TV. I hope it qualifies since I did it yesterday! I may add some watercolor to her at a later time but for now she's just a sketch.

great sketch! I'm working hard on faces right now, but I lack style. yours is deceptively simple looking, but wonderfully stylized and expressive. -Karen P.S. Lee's comment almost made me spit my wine on the computer.
p.s. I think the colors in your PPF painting turned out great - it made quite a difference to change her hair! The baby wipe container is a wonderful suggestion too (I usually use plastic take-out containers that I can close up until later).

Glad you joined us. I love the hair hanging over her eyes. She has got atitude which is something I love.
I like this as it is Janet--I know that you will colour her in the end but to me she looks great.

Love your sketch. It's really great. I notice alot of people are doing some form of art on maps, books, etc. What intrigues you about doing so?
