Two posts in one day! That's unusual for me but I decided to join in Sunday Sketches....
I did this quick sketch last night while watching TV. I hope it qualifies since I did it yesterday! I may add some watercolor to her at a later time but for now she's just a sketch.

She's fantastic Janet! Love her unruly hair over the eyes!
nice sketch, I like the background words too.
yea Janet, so glad you joined us at SS's! It is a wonderful group of people. When I first joined, i thought i had to do the sketch on Sunday too, but I don't think it matters. I love your lady, hair in front of the eye is great fun.
Glad you joined us. I love the hair hanging over her eyes. She has got atitude which is something I love.
I like this as it is Janet--I know that you will colour her in the end but to me she looks great.
I like her ...her short hair and earring and the hair over her eye... little flirt! :D :D
Hi Janet,
Ohh, how great this looks with the line drawing over the text and a last minute decision turned out fabulous.
Meant to be...
Your previous post with the sprays of colour then decorated is also creative.
Creative hugs,
Anna
you caught my likeness so well, those full lips look just like mine (lol)
great sketch! I'm working hard on faces right now, but I lack style. yours is deceptively simple looking, but wonderfully stylized and expressive. -Karen
P.S. Lee's comment almost made me spit my wine on the computer.
Awesome sketch and love the use of the text paper! POP ART MINIS
Oh this is sooo cool. Love to see WIPs.
Great sketch Janet. I love her being on text and her hair falling on her face. I think this lady knows what she wants.
I like your sketch! Her eyes are wonderful!
:-)
oh your faces are so pretty
She is lovely Janet!
Hugs and blessings

Hi Janet and WELCOME to Sunday Sketches. I apologize for the delay in visiting and I do hope you return this coming Sunday. :)
Love your sketch. It's really great. I notice alot of people are doing some form of art on maps, books, etc. What intrigues you about doing so?
:)
She looks good, I do hope to see some color to her some day, but for now, she looks great!
I love the way she looks on top of the text!

p.s. I think the colors in your PPF painting turned out great - it made quite a difference to change her hair! The baby wipe container is a wonderful suggestion too (I usually use plastic take-out containers that I can close up until later).
I love her hairstyle and the text really adds to her look too, I think.
Hope you had a happy Halloween!
I like the idea of drawing on top of the text. At least you are "getting in the studio" and really doing something.
I love your ladies, Janet...they're all so unique ~ :)
Another fantastic face Janet, I just love the way you draw your ladies faces, all with their own personality.
Lee:)
