This is a painting I started yesterday and finished this morning....
She's a mermaid minus the body! I didn't start out to do a mermaid but as I went along she wanted to be in the water with her hair flowing so I decided she must be a mermaid....I mean, who else goes into the water?!!
This is my art for day four of AEDM plus it's for PPF, too. Be sure to stop over at Paint Party Friday to see what everyone else is doing. You won't be sorry....there are many, many really great artists particpating!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful mermaid, Janet! I love how her hair flows and the curve of her neck - everything, really. Gorgeous! Love that stencil up there too. It looks like an art piece in its own right.
ReplyDeleteI really thought hard about AEDM this year and though I'm creating stuff right now, it's mostly of the gift sort. Even though it's only November, I'm trying to get things made in time for Christmas giving. Knowing me, though - I'll still be finishing them up on Christmas eve!
