The Aftermath...

Yes, I'm still here...but I've been very busy. First with the lead-up to Thanksgiving and then the dinner, and during all of that I've been having lots of back problems. They are continuing today so I'm not doing much. I do have some things to show you but I haven't downloaded the photos and to tell you the truth I just don't have the energy to do it right now!!

On Black Friday I got up very early to shop. It was my first excursion into Black Friday shopping. What could I possibly want, you ask? Electronics couldn't lure me out. Clothes and jewelry didn't do it either. But cat food and litter on sale did the trick! Then it was back home to rest on the couch. I hope to be back to 100% in a day or two.

  1. Janet, I'm so sorry to hear you're dealing with back pain. I can SO empathise. Please don't worry about posting until you're feeling up to it again. Rest up and pamper yourself. xo

  3. Hi Janet- hope you're feeling better. I highly recommend a book called, "Pain Free" by Pete Egoscue. It works. Check it out on amazon. :)

  4. I've never been enticed by Black Friday. But today I took a leisurely stroll through Target and picked up necessities and birthday gifts and a couple of Christmas gifts. Then a late lunch at Olive Garden with my daughter. She celebrates her 28th tomorrow. It has been a really nice day.

  7. Are you cwazy lady? Going out in that insanity would give me a back ache too!! Hope you feel better soon!! Like you there isn't enough I want, to fight those crowds. We had the first black friday in Canada because we're a border town. My dear friend went across and shopped from 10 until 7 in the morning... insane...she was disappointed she didn't get much. Feel better soon!

  8. I hope you are feeling better soon. I went out around 10:00 to get socks at 1/2 price and then came home. Not really into it this year. I'd rather make art.

  9. Pain can be so debilatating, so do hope your back is soon better. Cat food and litter are some of the more important things in life, especially to your pets!

  11. As someone who's had back pain on and off for 20 years now, I sympathize, and I hope you feel better really, really soon.

Ice helps me. So does getting a massage -- I go to a place that specializes in helping injured people. They work serious magic. :)

  13. Hi Janet...I hope by now the back pain is going away...not a fun thing! We had a great Thanksgiving but I must say: I'm glad to have it behind me now. I didn't venture out at all until Sunday morning and that was only because I was running out of Almond milk. Take care of yourself!
