Here they are...
They're all just quickie sketches.
Also I made more postcards using
Jane Davies technique...
This is the painted paper before I cut it.
And there were four ATCs too...
I also did a few ATCs for Valentine's Day
but didn't get them sent out!
Sorry about the dark picture.
When I tried to lighten it
everything faded out so I just left it dark.
If you want any of these ATCs just let me know.
I like making them but they begin to pile up.

Wow, you've been busy! Seriously Janet, I really like your faces! I always admire the way you can art in front of the telly. I struggle so much with that (I do cross-stitch instead). Love your postcards and ATcs too.
ReplyDeleteCarin, I used to do cross stitch, too, but I like to draw in front of the TV but I can't paint or journal like some people do...just draw.
DeleteJanet your girls are lovely and I really appreciate the variety of hairstyles. . .
ReplyDeletethanks, Michelle
DeleteAt least you remembered what day it is....I did my first post since Jan. 2 and did not even think to mention it is Valentines day. You are really keeping busy in the art room.I would think it would be hard to do that many faces and manage to make them different, good job.
ReplyDeletethanks, Gail...actually I think the faces all look the same. That's what I worry about with them.
DeleteI have to join the others and say WOW. All these hairstyles, where do they come from? Each time I try, it stops with the hair. I hope your day is just as you want it to be, mine has been good.
ReplyDeleteLaila, I'll do anything to avoid trying to draw "real" hair!
Deletefirst love the girls, and then the jane davies technique yours is so great, I am really going to give this a try
ReplyDeleteyou should try it Lee...it's easy and fun.
DeleteJanet that painted paper is amazing, I just love how the colours blend there! must take a look at the jane davies site!
ReplyDeletethanks...Jane's are better than mine. She really gets some fantastic postcards out of hers.
DeleteHi Janet...thanks for coming by my blog...I haven't been very good about visiting blogs lately. I love your cards and atc's...I have tried that method of starting large and cutting your cards afterward. I love the colors you used. Your faces look amazing! Maybe she'll do another month of faces later on and I'll get in on that one. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteMary
I hope she does another challenge because your faces are always great!
DeleteWow Janet...I really love your hearts! Such a Hallmark quality to them, but with 100 x more charm! I am enjoying your faces...they all have a common theme or look to them.
ReplyDeletethanks, Lisa...I just wish I had remembered to mail them!
DeleteOh my goodness...it's shocking how alike our valentine hearts are since I never saw these until now!! I tore paper hearts painted them and edged them in black for a card I made cupcake and beardo for their anniversary!! Thanks for sharing all this yumminess!!
ReplyDeleteHugs Giggles
I've been seeing the torn hearts everywhere. I think they look great so I had to try them.
DeleteThe colors on those postcards sends me to the moon! You have such an astounding sense of color and playfulness and boldness that I lack. I need to free up! These are fabulous!
ReplyDeletethanks, Jeanie...it's fun to play with color.
