Another Pixie Girl...

I'm not sure if she's completely finished yet but here is what I did last night while watching TV with HB...

It's so frustrating when I do these pen drawings...I can not see them in color!
How strange is that!!

  1. It's all in the eyes -- you do wonderful and very soulful eyes. They are beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

  5. Nice. The B&W is enough. Her hair on the one side reminds me of my string of pearls succulents.

  7. She's truly beautiful, Janet!! I love this just the way it is as, sometimes, colour can spoil a pen sketch.

  9. She is gorgeous....just scan her and put her in your paint program or photo shop and painter her that way... She is awesome just the way she is though!! She'd look cute shrunk down and then put in a necklace!

  13. I like her just as she is and remember, black and white are in the crayon box, so they are "colors".

  14. You don't have to see them in color. You just have to find someone to make stamps from them. I know. I've told you that before.

  16. Janet...I like what you have been doing with your "Pixie" girls...I like black and white. For me, when I add color, I usually end up very unhappy with the results. Make a copy on thin paper and try color and see if you like it. (btw-getting the round robin off to you today)

  18. Well, you know my fav comment. AWESOME!!! Janet, you should have been a hat designer. I can see Kate Middleton or the Queen wearing this, or the ladies at the K. Derby! Love it.

  19. Thanks, Judie...I do love hats but seldom ever wear one. Maybe I'm just channeling that into my art.
