Not Doing Much...

I finished another one of my girls last night. That may be all I manage as it's going to be 104ºF today!

I don't know why she looks so gray. I tried to lighten it up but then I got harsh spots here and there. She is actually done on white paper!

I also played around with a couple of my older paintings. Here is the first one I did...

Before

After
This was a pulled art piece.

Before

After

Both of these were done several years ago. They're on plain old cardboard from a box. I especially like how the second one turned out. She's always been a favorite of mine and now I like her even more.

  1. They all looks great, and the last one is a hit.
I've spent the day watching the royal wedding in Sweeden. The princess married an American. They were both lovely, and alot of beautiful dresses to see too.

  3. Hi Janet...I hope you are staying cool! We are still having cooler temperatures than are usual for it to be almost summer. I love your Boho girl. Sometimes lighting plays a role in how photos turn out. It's amazing how little things can make a difference on your re-dos. The last one is much more colorful...Love!

  8. Your color knocks me out every time!

Do you use Picassa to process your downloaded photos? My light bit in the camera is odd and when I hit the "I feel lucky" button, it almost always brings out the whites of the papers. Same with picmonkey (different button, but it works.) Don't know if that would help with the gray.
