Don't You Wanna Come Visit??

Still no art to show you but I thought I'd let you all drool over our weather (NOT) with this photo I took yesterday...

Don't you wish you were here?!!
More of the same today although a little cooler.
Still in triple digits though.

I'm actually working in my art journal today.
Nothing finished yet.

  2. I feel your pain...it's that hot here too. Just heavy with heat but no humidity thankfully. Makes me want to nap. Are you close to La Quinta? One of my cousins lives there next to mountains. xx

    1. That's the only thing saving me here, too...not much humidity. La Quinta is about 2 hours southeast from where I am.

  3. you couldn't pay me to purposely go anywhere with even more heat....we have enough of our own up here. I am lethargic and not motivated. So I get it!!

  4. I don't know how to handle the heat when its that hot, and I definitely would not be doing any art, so good for you, with art journaling.

    1. That's what I'm trying to do...just stay inside and keep busy so I don't notice the thermometer outside.

  7. 94 here but they say it feels like 103 and I am sitting at the computer like a zombie with a long thin wet towel wrapped around my neck.... Oh my... too much for me... over a hundred is good up north because it's way dryer....here by the ocean it's heavy heat...it's dropped down to feeling like 95 now...oh my hang in there... we are all bumps on a log today!

    1. We don't have much humidity with the heat so that's the thing that saves me. If it was humid too I'd be looking for another home.

  8. Our heat has been like that and we are still in a drought, but today we had a "cold front" so the temps are in the lower 90˚Fs for a change. Very low for July in Texas.

  9. Hi...I missed coming by yesterday...I'm almost ready to throw my computer out the window...it's doing better today. We are having unusually cooler weather for July...it's around 80 and that's about as high as it's supposed to be here...sorry, your weather has been so miserable. (just noticed that Sue said the same thing about Texas)

  13. Horribly hot weather in a lot of places. UGH...I am in my summer hibernation mode here too. We had the 105, 106, last week, then we cooled off. We are expecting a balmy 93 today. Unusual for Texas this time of year indeed.
