Magnolia Kiss

I haven't had much time to make art but yesterday during class I managed to do a little bit. I finished this up this morning...

I used paper napkins for her flowers and the butterfly. I did the face with Neocolor II's and like how it turned out. I thought she looked as if she was going to kiss the butterfly so I named her Magnolia Kiss.

  4. Lovely, you're so good at this. Love her hair, and you've done a great job with the neocolors. Not always as easy as it might seem.
Thank you foe sharing your experiences as I asked for yesterday. Interesting and useful.

    1. I first tried adding the napkin magnolias over the background but they didn't show up...too transparent. So I tore the magnolias from the napkins and glued them to plain white paper. Then I cut them out and put them on the girl's head. I touched them up with a little bit of watercolor and that was it.
