T is for Tuxpi and Breakfast...

I'm in my seventh decade so I'm a little slow to "get" things at times. And digital stuff like Photoshop just don't compute in my brain. But I've discovered Tuxpi, a photo editing site that is simple. I use PicMonkey for sizing my photos and a few other editing tools but Tuxpi lets me play in different ways.

You may remember this collage I recently did on wood...

I played with it in Tuxpi and had some fun with it...

Personally I like the kaleidoscope version best. But it's all just for fun to see what happens when you change colors.  Giggles at Happy Tiler has been telling me to try this for a long time. I finally did!!

And since this is Tuesday it's time for T for Tuesday so here's my beverage for this week...

I took this photo one morning as I was having my morning "coffee" and a couple of biscotti-like twists.

This is one of my favorite mugs and it's quite large at 20 ounces. I found it a couple of years ago at Ross and couldn't resist.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

  1. Oh my goodness these are stunning...I love the purple and blue...I could see that in fabric created at spoonflower...just love it...they are all amazing... I use pixlr...but I'm checking this one out... You will be surprised how some colours look terrible when transformed... I always love the surprise...Again a girl after my own heart with the extra large mug which I also love!!

  5. I'd never heard of Tuxpi, but I was delighted that you shared the link. For making my mosaics, I use http://bighugelabs.com/ They also have several of the same types of online photo editing as Tuxpi, which I plan to try out soon. I have PS, but don't know that much about it.

That is a gorgeous mug. I also like large mugs. They are so useful when I'm just sitting and relaxing.

I hope you notice that as soon as I saw your name, I made sure to stop by, because I didn't want to leave you without a host for a second week in a row.

Thanks for sharing your lovely art, the photo editing link, and your great mug with us for T this Tuesday. I will have one of those biscotti twists, if you have an extra one!

  13. Your French mug is super and those yummy treats look tempting.
Great fun with your art work and the alternations you did too. PS and I never quite got along so I am very grateful for more user friendly ways to alter pieces.

I must check out the Tuxpi program you used...very stunning results! I should show pics of my little dog (Taffy) in the spirit of T for Tuesday, ha!
